Shea’s Theatre website serves as the digital hub for one of Buffalo’s most beloved performing arts venues. Developed using PHP and WordPress, the site was crafted to provide visitors with an engaging and visually appealing experience while offering essential functionalities to support the theatre’s operations. During my time as a developer at Helm, I played a key role in bringing this vision to life by contributing to various custom-built features.

One of the highlights of the site is the season announcement page, which I designed and developed to be visually stunning and highly interactive, capturing the excitement of Shea’s upcoming performances. In addition to this, I was responsible for creating a volunteer shift sign-up and cancellation system that streamlined the process for Shea’s dedicated volunteers, making it easier for them to manage their schedules.

I also developed the camp sign-up system, allowing parents to easily register their children for Shea’s educational programs, and integrated donation forms that provide a seamless experience for patrons wishing to support the theatre. My work on Shea’s Theatre website included regular site maintenance to ensure everything ran smoothly, contributing to the site’s overall reliability and user experience.

My Role

As a developer on Shea’s Theatre website during my time at Helm, I played a crucial role in both the creative and technical aspects of the project.
